We have a very active after-school program at Grafton Elementary School. When children leave class at 3:05, they join Diane Thompson, coordinator of after-school programs, in the gymnasium for a healthy snack and some free time. At 3:15, special programs begin. Parents can pick up children at 4:15, or they can take the late bus home at that time.

The "Rise and Shine" homework club continues to meet from 7:30-8:00 each morning. Students must make prior arrangements with their classroom teachers to be part of the morning homework club.
All our after-school programs are made possible through gifts, a Consolidated Federal Grant (for math and literacy support), and volunteers who offer their time and talents to the program. We welcome contributions of all kinds as we work to make this program strong. Please contact Diane Thompson, MaryBeth Culver, or Beth Ann Drinker.
